• I inherited a WordPress – it’s two versions behind in updating and has had some “custom” coding installed. Upon exploring the administration/dashboard, I checked into the Appearance>Widgets and found an error. I’m assuming some kind of . : ; is missing within the php (php=I’m not very savvy at fixing by hand coding). My question for anyone who knows of such things or may be has seen this error before – –
Can it be fixed, if so how?

Can I do the update (automatically through Godaddy) and not have the whole website be destabilized by this error. We’re two versions behind and the owner would like it updated.

Here is an uploaded screen shot of the error
