error in admin console with admin-footer.php on line 23

    I just installed wp 3.0, and in the admin pages, I get an error at end of page:
    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /…/wordpress/wp-admin/admin-footer.php on line 23

    I have just shashin installed, and did not see it immediately.

    Configuration:
    php 4.4.3-dev
    mysql 5.0.77
    hosting free.fr

    I have another blog at the same hosting, but in version 292, and no problem.
