Error in activating (not able to activate)

  • when i click on activate ,it gives me error

    “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
    BuddyPress Courseware dependency error: forums has to be activated!”

    and when i click on (forum has to be activated) link,i get another error is like this
    “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

    then i though may be i have to configure my bp,but still it dosen’t work 4 me,see my bp settings ,is it ok ?

  • well, maybe I was to optimistic, I thought I got it working but it isn’t.
    If I use only bbPress (2.3.2) forums BuddyPress Courseware (0.9.7)would not install at all.
    If I enable BuddyPress Group Forums (Legacy) and bbPress, BP Courseware would install but apart from its settings I don’t see anything else to manage BP Courseware, furthermore I end up with two Forums items (one of BuddyPress and one of bbPress) in Dashboard Settings menu.
    If I use only BuddyPress (1.8.1) and its Group Forums, BP Courseware would install and I have only one Forums item in Dashboard Settings menu but, again, except for BP Courseware settings there are nowhere in the Dashboard menu items related to BP Courseware as described in its Handbook.

    BIGGG Thanks TO bett00 4 solution ,first of all sorry 4 late reply as i was busy with SENSEI LMS,then i though let me see what happen with Courseware ?? and woahh !!!! anyway m so excited to try it bt due to m going 4 a movie tonight, m abt to try it tomorrow ,hope it works 4 me ??
