error in 2.4 ver

After installing the Polylang 2.4 patch “Content Aware Sidebars” plugin stop working at webpage as if it was turned off. In the wordpress menu everything looks ok but does not display side bars on the page. In version 2.3 and earlier of Polylang everything is OK.

It shows only the theme sidebars but not the additional sidebars available with “content aware”. In the theme sidebars, it show all languages at once and does not filter per language. I went back to ver. 2.3.10 for now to solve the issue.
The issue appeared immediately with the update to 2.4. My theme is generatepress.
