    To further investigate the issue, please let us know what version of JetBackup for WordPress you are currently using and the version that the backups were generated in.

    Thanks for getting back to me, I am using the free version, the same as the backups were generated in.

    No problem, we are glad to help in any way that we can! The “Error getting status” message you are encountering occurs for backups created in an older version of JetBackup for WordPress.

    In our latest updates, we have revised the way that the statuses are displayed causing JetBackup to be unable to read the backup status of old backups which utilize an older structure. Any new backups should properly show the correct status.

    Well, I am in a situation now that I need to use the latest backup that I made. How can I use the backups made with the older version?

    Hi,

    You can still use these backups for restore/extract, the “error getting status” is just a GUI false positive.

    The downloads of my backups repeatedly fail:

    4.9 MB of 96.1 MB – The network connection was lost.

    It looks like there was a network issue. Please make sure that you have a stable connection and then retry the download.
