Error getting an API key?

    There is some relevant background info in this topic.

    Did some additional digging in the code and noticed that this is a 2 step process.

    First an API key is requested.
    If the API key request is successfull a request to activate the obtained API key is done.
    It turns out that no matter which request fails, the same error message is displayed…

    Would be nice to get a more specific error message indicating which request failed …

    Anyway “keep trying till it works” seems to be the best strategy.
