  • Hi, HoussenMoshine. Thanks for the feedback.

No, you shouldn’t have to include the SDK code anywhere. Could you provide some more information about the issue you’re having? That will help us reproduce the issue.

    – What version of the plugin are you using?
    – What version of WordPress are you using?
    – What version of PHP are you using (if known)?
    – What’s the debug output shown in the post edit screen on the Facebook Instant Article box?

    – Where exactly is the error shown (within WordPress or Facebook)?
    – If possible, can you change WP_DEBUG to true on your wp_config.php file and share any warning/error shown after this?

    Thanks again!

    I have the same problem.

Once the page with 50 Articles submitted for review, i can’t modify anything, or delete some articles at Facebook Production page. System show me “General Fatals: Sorry, We Couldn’t Parse the Article: Don’t worry, we are looking into this! Please try again shortly”.

    WordPress 4.3.3
    Plugin 2.7
    PHP 5.4

I am seeing this too, but only for certain articles. I noticed that specific articles were not being submitted to instant articles (either through the API or RSS). I tried clicking + Create in the Facebook Instant Articles Publishing Tools and pasting the transformed markup, and that is when I get this error.

Of 21 articles I’ve submitted thus far, 5 of them have failed this manner. I am going to try and see if there is something common to these articles. I’ll report back here if I find anything.

I’m having this happen, too. But I think it’s just that you can’t alter or update articles or publish any new ones once you’ve submitted for review, because everything is basically “frozen” in the review process.

Ah, okay. We haven’t gotten to the review process yet.

We have this problem as well. It appears to be fine when the initial submit is done but then later the content says it’s empty or it can’t parse.

Sorry, We Couldn’t Parse the Article: Don’t worry, we are looking into this! Please try again shortly.

Obviously there’s no way to link to anything that shows the problem, but I have screenshots I can put up if you need them.

Hi, it seem that the error has been fixed in the latest version of the plugin. Sometimes, i got the error, but i think it’s related to the formating. But thanks for the reply and the update.

i have this problem too, happen after submit 50 article for review

I have the same error–I submitted last night my 50 articles for review, and this morning, two new articles were published on our site, and those two have this error.

Same here. I’m totally guessing of course, but I reckon we are sort of locked down by FB while they check and approve our 50 articles.

Here we have the same problem, do not know if it’s important or not but this only happens after submitting for review by the Facebook team, already submitted twice and after two starts giving this error.

Same issue. Guess I’ll wait to till this issue is sorted out.

We’re also having this issue, as above we’re currently in the review process.

The Instant Article feed looks fine, but these errors are showing up, and the post itself in the mobile app is blank other than the title and featured image.

    WordPress 4.5
    Plugin 2.8
    PHP 5.4

I am getting the error as well.

General Fatals: Sorry, We Couldn’t Parse the Article: Don’t worry, we are looking into this! Please try again shortly.

    WordPress Version: 4.5
    PHP V 5.5.9
    Plugin version Version 2.9

It appears okay in the pages app, but throws the error in the cue and through the plugin within the article.

Still awaiting approval. (So much for the 24-48 hours – it’s been four days.) However, I understand that they must be absolutely slammed with applications.

    Hey Paulo,
I am going to jump in also and report the same thing though it is probably right in the hang up in the review process.
