Error from last API Key attempt:

  • Your blog was unable to connect to WordPress.com. Please ask your host for help. (transport error – could not open socket: 113 No route to host)

    Those error appear when i putting API key to activate the WordPress.com Stats Plugin.

  • The error message is telling you what the issue is. Port 113 is blocked. I’d get with your host and ask them about opening it.

    No, it’s not a blocked port problem. However, the error is telling you the problem:

    (transport error - could not open socket: 113 No route to host)

    The key words here are “no route to host”. This is a routing issue. Could also be a DNS issue. The 113 is just the numerical version of the same error.

    *shrug* Always has been a port issue for me.
