• Resolved Ate Up With Motor

    (@ate-up-with-motor)

I’ve been using this plugin for several years with good results until tonight. Earlier this evening, my web host prompted me to upgrade from PHP 5.3 to 5.6. Once I did that, the plugin began returning the following error messages in the administrator backend:

Warning: mysql_query(): No such file or directory in [redacted]/plugins/wp-memory-db-indicator/wp-memory-db-indicator.php on line 167

Warning: mysql_query(): A link to the server could not be established in [redacted]/plugins/wp-memory-db-indicator/wp-memory-db-indicator.php on line 167

Warning: mysql_fetch_array() expects parameter 1 to be resource, boolean given in [redacted]/plugins/wp-memory-db-indicator/wp-memory-db-indicator.php on line 169

Is the plugin not compatible with newer versions of PHP or is something else going on? How can I resolve this short of just deactivating the plugin? I can downgrade temporarily, but by January, my host will remove support for older versions of PHP.

    Thanks!
