  • Could it be that the post that contains the redirect was changed or removed very recently? Normally the plugin would detect that, but if its link database went out of sync for any reason, it could cause the kind of error that you got.

    After further inspection, it turned out that the redirects were no longer redirects and they were getting 200 results – but they were still listed under redirects. Strange. Nothing was really wrong. Thanks for the quick response. Hopefully this will be some good feedback for the next version of this plugin. I love it and find it very useful for all of my clients’ sites.

    Interesting. While the issue might have resolved on its own in this case, I will still need to investigate that part of the code further.

    The links may have been temporary 302’s. The plugin has not returned any additional bad links since.
