    Hello,

I just realized that in my form, when the “Content” field of the “Publication data” module is completed with the visual editor, when validating the form I have an error message telling me that the field is not completed (required fields), but if I manually switch to the text editor, the message is not displayed and the information is uploaded in the created post.

Do you have any idea where this problem comes from?

Here is the link of the page where the form is displayed: https://gt3dmakers.com/deposer-mon-annonce/

    Cordially,

    Florian

    Hi @noobygamer

    I hope you’re well today!

I tried to replicate this but I wasn’t able to on my test setup. However, I did found a report on similar bug that may be the case here.

Could you please check if your form is set to be loaded by Ajax (see “Load for using Ajax” option under “Rendering” in form’s Behavior settings)? If yes, and the text field with visual editor is set to required – then try changing any of these options: either switch off loading using Ajax or try making field not required.

If any of these changes help, then it confirms we are dealing with aforementioned bug here.

If that’s the case, I’m afraid we’ll need to wait until fix is included in one of upcoming fixes and until then keeping Ajax load disabled should work.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

    Hi Adam,

    Thank you for your speed!

Indeed by disabling sending via Ajax, it works even with the visual editor.

Thank you, we just have to wait for a patch then ??

    Hi @noobygamer

    Thank you for confirmation.

So we now it’s that bug that I mentioned then. I don’t have an ETA on a patch but I’ve mentioned this case to our developers too and since the bug is already known and on a “to be fixed” list, it should be addressed in one of upcoming releases.

Until then, please keep Ajax option disabled and it should be fine.

    Best regards,
    Adam
