I am the site administrator and I am logged in to the wordpress panel, but when I send a comment this error happens.
When I use WP’s standard commenting system, I can comment normally.

    Hi there,

Are you using any other comment plugins? There are a few anti-spam and comment-enhancing plugins that can interfere with Jetpack comments.

Also, can you please let me know your site’s address so I can have a closer look?

    Hi there,

I know a fresh install has helped with this issue before. Would you be able to try the following exact steps for me for a completely fresh reinstallation?

    • From the wp-admin dashboard of your site, please go to Jetpack > Dashboard > Connections > Manage site connection from your left-hand menu.
    • Click the “Disconnect” button. If it’s already disconnected, you can skip to the next step.
    • Deactivate your Jetpack plugin by heading to Plugins > Installed Plugins and finding “Jetpack by WordPress.com.”
    • Completely uninstall Jetpack.
    • Reinstall the newest version of Jetpack.
    • Deactivate all of your plugins.
    • Activate only Jetpack.
    • Back in Jetpack > Dashboard > Connections > Manage site connection, Click the “Set up Jetpack” button and continue through the approval process.

Please let me know the results of this troubleshooting and we can go from there. Thanks!

    Hi!
I did all the steps, but unfortunately that didn’t solve the problem.

Thanks for the attempt. If disabling plugins doesn’t help, it may be the theme. Temporarily switch your theme to a WordPress default theme like Twenty Nineteen. Then try to reproduce the issue again. If it works, then you know it’s a problem with the theme, and you can reach out to the theme developer for a fix.

Have you always received this error, or was there an update that you remember that may have caused it?

Hello! I disabled all plugins and used the Twenty Twenty theme, and the problem was not solved.

Is this happening with your account or with any other logged-in user that tried to leave a comment?

Sorry, to confirm, you said “I disabled all plugins and used the Twenty Twenty theme, and the problem was not solved.”

Do you mean the problem continues now even with Jetpack deactivated?

I disabled all plugins, except Jetpack.

In your profile page (Users > Profile) does the email field have your email address?

    Sure.

Do you get the same error when you make the name and email fields optional? Go to Settings > Discussion and uncheck the Comment author must fill out name and email option.

No. But, I don’t want anonymous comments on my website.
When i uncheck the Comment author must fill out name and email option, i’m identified as anonymous, even when logged in.
