• Greetings, any support or feedback really appreciated.

I recently ran the plugin wp_dbmanager optimise database function and experienced very slow site loading. Have then disabled the plugin and now receiving error message “Error Establishing Database connection”.

I have had a good look around and followed reccomendations on forums to check DB setting in wp-config.php file etc. all settings appear to be ok.

I can get to the database repair page at https://www.ayc.com.au/wp-admin/maint/repair.php how ever the process times out and displays the error “Internal Server Error”.

Have also tried to restore db through the host cpanel however this had not made a difference. > hosted through Dreamhost.

I have a backup db.sql file that tried to import through phpMyAdmin however I think file size 7.1mb is too big to import and process times out and crashes. Error message “No data was received to import. Either no file name was submitted, or the file size exceeded the maximum size permitted by your PHP configuration. See FAQ 1.16. “

    Website is https://www.ayc.com.au

Any help really appreciated to get site live again ASAP

  • I think you may need the help of your hosts to get this one sorted out. I’ve tagged this topic for the attention of one of their support team. In the meantime, have you tried breaking that backup .sql file down into smaller chucks and running a series of smaller imports via Phpmyadmin?
