Error Establishing a Database Connection only while Jetpack plugin active

    Hello,

    I have been having issues with Error Establishing a Database Connection while having Jetpack active.

    It happens intermittently and only in the wp-admin interface when I am clicking on plugins/ dashboard or posts, or anything else related to my admin interface. The site works normally instantly when I try to check normally (without wp-admin) for visitors.

    I even contacted my hosting support and I upgraded to premium shared hosting.
    He told me that there is nothing wrong with my MySQL database, the credentials are correct and password as well (I double checked it to be sure). I even performed a repair of my database, but that has not helped either.

    How did I figure out that it’s Jetpack?
    Well, I literally disabled all plugins, it took me the longest time to test everything one by one for a few minutes. If I enable only Jetpack, it happens. If I enable all other plugins and disable Jetpack, it does not happen (ever). I have no idea why, but it has been like this for a long time, even before (from the activation of Jetpack a few months ago).

    I can not figure it out or how to fix it.

    I love Jetpack and its features, but I do not get what to do. Is this a conflict with my theme (Colormag) and Jetpack? I don’t know what could be causing this at all.

    Edit:
    When I tried to run the WordPress XML-RPC Validation Service, it says
    1000000 Sorry, we cannot find the RSD Endpoint link in the src code of the page. The RSD document contains the URL to the XML-RPC endpoint.

    Is there any way to fix this?

    Hi there,

    I see that you’re using Cloudflare. CDN services can interfere with the Jetpack connection. Contact Cloudflare and ask them if they can make any adjustments on their end.
