Error Establishing a Database Connection after replacing database

  • WordPress Show me “Error Establishing a Database Connection” after i replaced my wp database with a backup.
    Db Exists!
    User added to db,
    and Db name is correct!

    ps: I created backup with phpMyAdmin copy operation and restored by renaming main database to other name and renaming backup db to main db name.
    What is the problem?

  • I cannot quite follow your report of how and what there, but the database name, MySQL username and password and the database table_prefix must be the same in wp-config.php as at the server, and then the MySQL user at the server must be assigned to the database.
