Error establishing a database connection

  • Hello, i’ve been trying to fix my site with this error, but i didn’t find any solution yet, i checked my wp-config.php details and i’m sure they are correct, unless i have to modify something in db_host, but i was not given that detail. so when i try to enter on my website i get this error displaying

    Error establishing a database connection

    wordpax.com (you can enter and see it by yourself)

    i tried to re-install wordpress multiple times, manually through FTP and softaculous application. the result is always the same.

    Can someone help me in this issue please?

  • Can you check if Mysql is running on your server ?

    Usually its
    1. MySQL Server is not working
    2. Invalid Credentials
    3. Username, Password and Database names are correct. But User is Not Permitted to perform operations on Database.

    As you are saying you are able to install WordPress from Softaculous Successfully. Then you should not get this error ! Can you Check with your Web Host?

    They are saying it’s perfectly fine and the problem is on my side, also the other members have their website in wordpress working perfectly fine.

    Then it must be with Credentials you entered in wp-config.php

    Please check wp-config.php for DB name, Username & Password.

    verify that user is permitted to operate on Database
