Yes I have changed the name. Still no luck. Can anyone out there please help?

    Cheers,

The wp-config file tells WP how to get to the database, so it can’t be little more than a problem with that. The wp-config is at the right place, in the /blog folder and not in a subfolder or the root of the website itself?
Also, you created a database, asigned a user and a password and filled in the correct information in the wp-config file? Just asking stupid questions to make sure it’s not something little.

You need to update the wp-config file with the data that was in your previous file. I tried your link and the error is because the php file can’t ‘call up’ the SQL database, because the information in the wp-config file isn’t correct (or blank).

Thanks guys – much appreciated. I am going to delete everything “WordPress” of the server and start again. Will let you know how I get on.

    Cheers.
