Error establishing a database connection

Please check if you have the correct database name, database username, database password and MySQL hostname in your wp-config.php file. If this doesn’t help, check if you have a working database (i.e., with no empty tables, damaged or corrupt data, etc.)

problem is intermittent so wp config is ok

also as per host db etc is also fine

I am still getting Error establishing a database connection. Generally it is associated with wrong entries as I mentioned above in your wp-config.php file. So, re-check them and also make sure that you have a working database as I mentioned above.

If it is intermittent, then it’s a hosting issue.
