Error establishing a database connection

  • Recently I started using some webspace my friend has. He uses BlueHost. I FTPed all the files onto my domain, he imported my old database, and gave me the db name, and a username and pass to use for it. I went to install wordpress, and I keep getting an Error establishing a database connection. I’m pretty sure its not the database name, username, or password causing the problem. but I could be wrong. I think it might be the location of the database. Does anyone know how to resolve this problem?
