Error establishing a database connection

  • This is the exact same issue I am having. All I can suggest is triple-checking your username and password, and entering a hostname rather than “localhost” if your mySQL server provides one. None of these solutions have worked for me though.

    No one can help me? Moderators? WordPress?

    I tried to download it through Fantastico De Luxe. I did it manually with step by step instructions https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jltl_hlm9CU&feature=related

    I even tried older versions, nothing is working. Why? Please help me, I spent a lot of money today to start this… little frustrated is all.. wordpress says 5 minute setup, going on 5 hours now… please help me.

    Interesting. It works now. I don’t know what happened but I am so happy now…
