Hi,
I have been using BackWPup with my gmail account, but the frequency of ERROR messages has increased over the last few weeks. This is what I am getting:

Gmail only allowas maximum of 25MB in email.

Hi Daniel,

I understand that. That is why my backup settings convert the backup database file into zip format, so that it can be sent to my gmail account.

The size does not seem to be the problem. If you can think of anything else, that would be helpful.

@davina14, well what was the error sending the email? If you can tell us that, perhaps we can tell you how to fix it.

@postman SMTP: I must have a look if i can get a deteild error message from the sdk i use.

Plase use a direct SMTP server for sending backups in the settings.

@danielhuesken the plugin is not using wp_mail to send mail?

The plug-in I am using is BackWPup. It handles the sending of my backup files. And when I get the e-mail it sends, it says the sender is me (my gmail account).
@ Daniel, that is all the info I have.

@postman SMTP: for log it will use wp_mail but not for backup archives. Because i can’t reduce the memory usage from wp_mail if bigger files will be send.
