Error erasing personal data

  • After the request has been confirmed I tried to erase the personal data of a customer with the erase personal data tool and got this error:

    “An error occurred while attempting to find and erase personal data.”

    The only data stored is the woocommerce order and the username, email adress etc.

    What is it not working?

    I think the behavior is intentional for WC. We are probably expected to manage orders manually since automated removal could corrupt important business transaction data. I would expect at least personal data on orders that are completed to be removed, but apparently WC is not that nuanced. If you desire a better explanation from WC, I suggest you ask in their dedicated support forum.
