    Hello,

Great plugin! I am considering to purchase the Pro version.

While embedding posts works seamlessly and magically, I have unsuccesfully tried all these options to embed a Facebook page:

    Magic Embed

    https://www.facebook.com/inforoses/

    Shortcodes

    [embed src=https://www.facebook.com/inforoses/ social_plugin=false ]

    [embed social_plugin=false]https://www.facebook.com/inforoses/[/embed ]

    [facebook https://www.facebook.com/visitroses/ social_plugin=false ]

I tried with both options social_plugin=false and social_plugin=true.

I always get this error message:

    https://www.facebook.com/inforoses/
    Code: 190
Error: Error validating application. Application has been deleted. (only visible to admins)

While Facebook plugin shorcode works fine:

    [fb_plugin page href=https://www.facebook.com/visitroses/ height=600 width=500 tabs=timeline,events,messages ]

Any idea of what is causing the problem?

Thank you very much for your attention.

    Best regards.

    Hi

I tried to embed your site and it work, you must follow the error code.

The error code tells us that the Facebook app you are using has been deleted, so check your Facebook apps.

Make sure you have the correct app id and secret for your app on the plugin settings, also select “Facebook SDK 2.7” on Advanced section.

Let me know if it works.

    Hi Miguel,

Thank you very much for your response.

I solved the problem a few hours ago after I wrote the post. I wanted to say it here but I completely forgot, sorry. What I can not remember is which was the cause of the problem and how I solved it.

Thanks once again and best regards.

    Hi Miguel,

    I have just remembered.

The URLs I copied from some Facebook pages contained a “/pg/” part that had to be deleted.

    Best regards.
