Error Emails

  • Since upgrading to latest version I am getting emails like this

    You getting this message because an error detected while delivered your email.
    For the domain: https://mydomain.com
    The log to paste when you open a support issue:
    Invalid “To” e-mail address “[email protected]”

    I understand that is a valid email most likely from a scammer, but I’ve never recived such emails before. (there was another one with an error code 0 but I didn’t save it)

    Anyway, is this a NEW feature…the emails to admin?

    I want to stress it looks like valid emails ARE being delivered. This error email is oviously a BAD email address (spam).

    I just don’t know WHY I am getting these emails now and never before. And I would prefer to turn them off.

    Try to disable Wordfence and then test it and let us know if this issue still exists or not.

    Looking through logs, could this have something to do with GAMIPress? These are all emails triggered by the Gamipress plugin (it’s a wordpress gaming plugin). And again just to clarify, the EMAIL address are in fact invalid.

    I can confirm this issue is from GAMIPRESS plugin, which sends out emails when rewards are reached. If the user has an invalid email, these errors and emails are created. Very annoying.
