Hi, we are using your plugin and also purchased the Affiliates Manager WooCommerce Coupons Integration plugin. When users register to become an affiliate, and they are not already “regular” WordPress users, the registration form registers them to be approved, but the form returns an error to the user that “the email address is already in use,” so they do not think that they have been registered successfully. WordPress 5.4.1, PHP 7.3.x. Thanks!

Hi, can you confirm these users have not already registered in your site using other means?

    Thank you

Yes, I tested myself with three different addresses that are not users in ine WordPress admin, and none of the three registrants who signed up over the past few days were WordPress users either. I assumed that was the problem but it wasn’t. If you go to https://collegescoops.com/affiliate-home/ and register you will see it shows that your address is already registered, even though it does register you and will send you a confirmation that your status needs to be approved.

@affmngr, For some reason the page was loading twice for a single submission. That’s what’s caused the issue.

I’m having the exact same issue. You submit the form and it throws the error that the email is already in use. When i check the e-mail box, the welcome email is in there, and in the back end the new account is created. But it throws this error every time.

    What was the fix?

This seems to happen when yoast seo and site origin page builder are both active and the affiliate registration page contains the siteorigin shortcode instead of the actual registration page shortcode.

    Hi, there.

@affmngr I don’t use Yoast plugin and have exactly the same issue.

You said the problem can be a reload for a single submission.
What can we do to solve this problem?
