Error editing profile fields in buddypress

  • For some reason i get logged out of wp-admin whenever I click “Add new field” or “edit group”, when i’m editing profile fiels.
    Any suggestions?

    I have:
    – Single wordpress install version 3.3.1
    – BuddyPress version 1.5.3.1
    – The theme is called Torn 1.7.6 by Louis Zuno
    – Of plugins I have:
    Akismet, bbpress, Bowe codes, BWP Google XML Sitemaps, Cubepoints, CubePoints Buddypress Integration, GD bbpress attachments, Maintainence Mode, Sociable, Social login, User role editor, wp e-commerce
    – I tried deactivating all the plugins and changing to the default buddypress theme, but that had no effect

    Also, the crop profile picture after upload doesn’t work.

    Any help and suggestions very welcomed! Behind schedule because of this hickup :/ Thanks in advance! ??

    This post is on buddypress-forums as well, but I think they are very bussy at the time, so I’m trying my luck here.

    My webhost purged the cache and that seemed to solve the problem

    My avatar cropping is still not working. My console says:

    @viktor89, not sure if you have find the solution or not, so here is what helped me

    If that doesn’t work for you wither then simply use jQuery noConflict and give another name to jQuery in bp-core-cssjs.php file which is inside the bp-core folder inside buddypress below line 90.

    I chose to switch my forum over to phpbb in the end. Hopefully this thread can help other people solve the issue, should they have it also ??
