Error during update to 4.9.6

  • Hi,

    I was just updating my WordPress website to 4.9.6 and it seemed to be going fine, but when it should’ve gone back to the dashboard, I got a white screen with:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_add_privacy_policy_content() etc.

    My website seems to be working okay, but there must be something wrong. What can I do to fix this?

    Try reinstalling the update. You can do this from the Dashboard’s update page or manually.

    Thanks Steve,

    I just did exactly that and the error didn’t show up, so I guess it’s updated properly now ?? The website I updated when the error occurred is the Dutch version, by the way. Not sure if that matters, but I also have an English WordPress website, which updated without any hiccups.
