    Hi,

Sorry for the delay in responding, but I’m quite busy at the moment. You wrote about an error popping up on multiple sites. Are both of them on the same operating system?

The 401 error occurs more often; I’ve seen multiple reports about it. Most of the time, it just boils down to a copy-paste error on the OAuth token and secret. Are you sure that you’ve got the right value on the right element?

Here’s what you can do to verify:
Click “Forget OAuth” on the plugin configuration page and open the LinkedIn Developer Network Application Details page again. Copy the value of API Key found on the LI Application Details page to the OAuth Token field found on the LinkedIn Profile Synchronization Tool section and copy the value of the Secret Key to the OAuth Secret. Then click Save again, then try to fetch your profile again.

Please let me know whether this fixed the error you’re seeing.

    Hi,

Thanks for getting back. Yes, it worked and downloaded my LinkedIn resume in quite an acceptable format. Nice.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
i did the same procedure, but that issue is not getting resolved?
Please, tell me how could i do that?

I updated the instructions page at https://www.tenberge-ict.nl/tools/wordpress/lips/#setup. The registration should be more obvious now.
