Error during post edit and publish

  • I have a few problems ever since my service provider upgraded my blog’s hardware. But the problem is so weird that I don’t even know how it could have happened, nor to explain. Here are some problems I face now while blogging.

    (1) Half of the images I try to upload gets corrupted. Although they show there is a file uploaded, all I get is a grey frame. This happens when I use either the flash or browser uploader (for multiple or single image at one time).

    (2) My blog content changes when I save / publish. I could have created my post and clicked on “PUBLISH”. But when I read my post again, there are tons of errors not caused by me. Example:

    (a) my images become un-viewable cos wordpress somehow automatically removed a character from my “img src” URL, or inserted one or a string of characters at the URL, or

    (b) wordpress inserted characters in my text. E.g. I wrote “…usually only…”, but what is published is “…usually!only…” etc. I have also seen the published post to contain weird characters like “e22” or “e26” which is not written by me.

    Does anyone face the same crazy problem? Do you know how to solve it? It’s causing tons of pain that I can’t even blog properly.

    Giving more details/patterns that I noticed:

    Example 1:

    When I post:
    <img class=”aligncenter size-large wp-image-2989″ title=”DSC_6748″ src=”https://blog.mybaby….jpg” alt=”” width=”368″ height=”244″ />

    What is saved/published becomes:
    <img class=”aligncenter size-large wp-image-2989″ title=”DSC_6748″ src=”https://blog.-ybaby….jpg” alt=”” width=”368″ height=”244″ />

    QUESTION:
    This happens quite often where a single character is amended on SAVE/PUBLISH. And the single character errors UTF8 encoding is always offset by 64. Why?

    Example 2:

    Where I entered a new line, and the advance editor created a <p> … </p> automatically in the HTML code. That’s fine. But on save/publish, the text appears on my visual editor as: “e3C/p>”

    QUESTION 2:
    Why are there new content posted on my blog that is not entered by myself?

    QUESTION 3::

    When I try to upload images, the images get corrupted and I have to keep trying until they finally becomes correct.

    Is it a memory problem on my end or the server?
