Error during adding new site

  • Hello,

    I have instance of wordpress installed since more than one year and everything looks fine. Page was not touched by last couple of months but now I need to make some changes – add pages and users.
    But here is the problem – I cannot add any page in admin panel – when I try i get error “You have no privileges to edit this post”.
    Also I have problem during adding new user.
    I was trying to reinstall wordpress, switch off all plugins, change template, etc. but nothing helps ;(
    In debug mode I get this:

    Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/www/soreklim.pl/wp-admin/includes/post.php on line 199

Notice: Trying to get property of non-object in /home/www/soreklim.pl/wp-admin/includes/post.php on line 200

    But I have no idea what to do with that. I guess there is some problem with database.

    Anybody have idea how to help?

  • Try re-uploading all files & folders – except the root wp-config.php & .htaccess files and the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folders before uploading the new ones.

    Ok, I’ve just removed all files and copied fresh from WP pack… and still the same problem ??

    Have you removed all folders in wp-content/themes except the twentysixteen folder?

    Have you tried resetting the plugins folder by phpMyAdmin?

    Yes, I did it now.

    I tried to reset plugins folder but not in phpmyadmin but by FTP.
    To be honest – when i login to phpmyadmin and find described column – i have no idea what to change :/
