    Hello,

I’m using wordpress 4.0 fr and the last version of nextgen
When a user which has not enough permissions on NextGen gallerry, browses his/her profile , he gets the following notice:

Notice: Undefined index: nextgen-gallery in G:\wamp\www\vja\wp-content\plugins\nextgen-gallery\products\photocrati_nextgen\modules\nextgen_admin\class.page_manager.php on line 144

I don’t get this notice on my production server (probably because show_error is off).

@lafare – Have you narrowed this down to specific “permissions” that are causing this issue?

    Hi,

Yes I have, actually it is needed to at least give the users rights on “NextGen gallery global view” (I hope it is called like that because I use the plugin’s french translation, anyway it is the first option in Other Options/Roles&Permissions menu).ie if this option has been setup on subscriber the error dissapear for any user which has at least this role. The drawback is: he has access to the nextgen galley menu showing the number of galleries, albums, and pictures…
Otherwise, look’s like if the NextGEN menu couldn’t be added to the wordpress dashboard panel .

@lafare – That option must be set to the lowest role to be used in general.

The first option is the key to all of the other options in “Roles & Capabilities”
