Hi, a few days ago I suddenly get a message from a site surfer that there is a problem with the PDF view on my site.
I asked and indeed there is a problem, there is a red line, and it says there is an error in displaying the file.
I checked and the file is still on the server as usual.
    What could be the problem?
I deleted cookies on the server, disabled other plugins that might have affected but the problem still remained.
    You can see it here:

    Anyone else come across this?
Thank you very much, I would be very happy to help!

  • Hi sadly I have no solution but a similar problem. I’m using the Broadcast plugin and the Pdf is displayed like it should on the original Page, but on the child posts it hast the same Problem like described and shown in the the upper post. The PDF is there and the ID checks but i get the same error as you do, also I checked my console in the browser and got this
Errormessage:”Access to fetch at ‘pdfURL’ from origin ‘pageURL’ has been blocked by CORS ‘php code with pdfURL’ policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the request resource. If an opaque response serves your needs, set the request’s mode to ‘no-cors’ to fetch the resource with CORS disabled.

    Hello dear @r89696
I am sorry for the delay. Would you please check if INTERNET DOWNLOAD MANAGER (IDM ) app running in your pc.
If not, you can rename the pdf file and use English name and have a test.
    Let me know the result.
    Have a great day.
