Error: "Disk Enhanced mode can't work with 'default' permalinks structure"

  • Several W3 Total Cache features only work when you enable the “rewrite engine”. When you use the default permalinks the engine is not turned on.

    Therefore if you want to use W3 Total Cache (and other plug ins) features you should go to Settings => Permalinks => and click another option in there. By the way the default permalinks are terrible for SEO and ranking, they are only there because they are the “desperate fall back” in case the website stops working or there are serious issues with the server host.
