    Hi,

I can’t figure it out, but I have 3/4 errors in the dev-console of chrome on the pages where there is a map of events manager:

[Violation] Added non-passive event listener to a scroll-blocking ‘wheel’ event. Consider marking event handler as ‘passive’ to make the page more responsive. See https://www.chromestatus.com/feature/5745543795965952

also for “mousewheel’ and ‘touchstart'(and sometimes also ‘touchmove’)

Is this something you are familiar with?

    Thank you, Roos

  • Thanks for using EM. Is this error still produced with EM turned off/deactivated?

Thanks for your respons. No, when EM is deactivated the errors are gone(as there are no maps or events with a map). Also no difference between log in or out of WordPress.
The error has something to do with the map ( I think).
I also noticed that when I visit the page or event the first time the error is not there, it is when I do refresh.
Furthermore I cannot remember I have seen this before, as I do a lot of refreshes while using the dev-console of chrome for tryout css-editing.
And I have the same error on my website with all plugins activated, but also on a test-site with only eventsmanager activated…in a multisite envirement
    this is my test-site: https://www.umbriavita.info,
    Regards

Also changing theme doesn’t change the issue…

I just visited the page and am not seeing the errors in the chrome console.

It is when you refresh the page, did you also try that?

Ah I have found the issue, it has something to do with google maps javascript api themselves.

The issue is reported here: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/63211698

And STACKOVERFLOW gives some sort of explanation…

Ok, resolved as not an events manager issue..
