I tried to get Gmail SMTP set up. It worked perfectly on one of my websites, but on the other website (on the same server) came up with a SMTP authorization error.

As suggested on a Gmail SMTP setup page, I revoked access and deleted my old Credentials, then created new credentials and pasted them into the GMail SMTP Settings page.

Now I am getting the error: deleted_client when I try to Grant Permission.

If I click on Grant Permission, the client ID that gets passed to Google is …63eo.apps.googleusercontent.com (obviously I won’t paste the whole code)

BUT the code that I have entered in to the Gmail SMTP settings panel is …5nps.apps.googleusercontent.com

Somehow the previous code that I entered is saved somewhere.

I tried deleting the plugin and reinstalling it, but when I go to the settings, all of the settings are already filled in, so deleting the plugin doesn’t delete the settings.

    Help!

OK. I found the solution. I retried it using a different web browser. Obviously my old settings were somehow cached in the first browser I used.
