    Hi!

We use Dokan lite at work for a multivendor website, and according to the documentation, features, and chat agent on dokan’s website, as it is the free version, it should allow us to buy products from multiple vendors at the same time, as activating single-seller mode is a PRO feature.

However, in the tests we do, we get an error stating that we cannot have products from different vendors at the same time in our cart, as if the single-seller mode was the default mode.

    How can we change that?

    Hello @marionlpn,

We would like to inform you that Dokan allows customers to purchase products from multiple vendors simultaneously in the free version. If you are encountering an issue where customers cannot buy products from different vendors at the same time, please check for any theme or plugin conflicts. Temporarily deactivate plugins except for Dokan and WooCommerce and switch to a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-One to see if the issue persists. This will help identify if there are any conflicting elements affecting the multi-vendor functionality.

If the problem persists, feel free to provide more details, and we’ll be glad to assist you further.

    Thanks!

    Hi!

    Thank you for your answer.

Unfortunately, deactivating plugins and switching theme is not something that we want to do at the moment, as we are about to launch an event and cannot risk any unexpected changes in configuration.

I am not sure about it, but if I provide you with a list of the plugins and theme we are using, would you be able to know if this is the source of our problem?

    Thank you!

    Hello @marionlpn,

Identifying conflicts without deactivation is challenging. To troubleshoot this issue more safely, I recommend creating a staging site—a replica of your live site where you can perform tests without affecting the live configuration. On the staging site, you can deactivate plugins and switch themes to identify the source of the problem without any impact on your live site.

If you need guidance on setting up a staging site, you can contact your hosting provider.

    Thanks!
