error “data not accepted” while sending Matomo-report

    Hello,

    i do have following Installation:
    1) WordPress Version 5.4.2
    2) WP Mail SMTP Version 2.3.1, configured to send eMail to an SMTP-Host.Force fields are set. Test is successful.
    3) Matomo Analytics – Ethical Stats. Powerful Insights. Version 1.2.0

    While sending an report from Matomo, there is the error:
    Mailer: Andere SMTP-Verbindung
    SMTP Error: data not accepted.

    can anyone help?

    Thanks for reaching out. The error appears when the email sent has incorrect data sender/format etc. Please check the email settings of this plugin or consult with their support or documentation. Email logging plugins might help you to troubleshoot the issues with the email.
