Receiving message in Wordfence Live Activity:

“Call to Wordfence API to resolve IPs failed: There was an error connecting to the the Wordfence scanning servers: cURL error 7: Failed to connect to noc1.wordfence.com port 443: No route to host”

  • Hi,
Please check (Wordfence > Tools => Connectivity) and let me know what you have there, also try running a new scan and watch for any message in the Live Activity bar.

    Thanks.

    Hi wfalaa,

I’m not sure where that option is – Under “Tools” – except for the pink box at the very top of the page where it says:
    Wordfence Live Activity:
“Call to Wordfence API to resolve IPs failed: There was an error connecting to the the Wordfence scanning servers: cURL error 7: Failed to connect to noc1.wordfence.com port 443: No route to host”

What puzzles me most about it is I have more than one site – on the same server – the other site is running identical everything except IT has much more traffic – and I have no issues with WF there. The settings were imported from the aforementioned site when I set it up over 2 years ago.

I just updated to the new version on all sites and I’m going to run a new scan on this site now.

    Thanks.

Sorry, it should be in (Wordfence > Tools => Diagnostics => Connectivity).

    Hi wfalaa,

Thanks for clarifying. I updated yesterday and also ran a new scan
All seems well there now and the connectivity in Tools/Diagnostics both say “ok”.

Not sure what it was but at least it’s better again.

    Thank you.
