error connecting a site with subdirectory

Hi,

I installed two WordPress 6.2 in my host:

https://example.com

https://example.com/subdirectory

I installed WP Remote Users Sync in both sites with the same encryption/signature keys for both, but when I do Test, I received

Error contacting the remote site: an undefined error occured. Please make sure the address is correct and try again. On the remote site, please make sure the plugin is activated and that the permalinks are up to date by visiting the permalinks settings page
