    I just started receiving this error code. The last successful purchase with Stripe was on May 27th. I also noticed with the updates that the only option to display the CC fields is with the window popup vs. the old in place fields that stayed on my checkout page. I reviewed the preferred cards and don’t think that the customer was using anything different. Any suggestions to resolve?

    Additional info. Customer says that the popup windows does not come up when they try to pay with a credit card.

    Hi @tkaldridge,

    The plugin always uses the popup window method for entering credit card details. We haven’t made any changes to that. Regarding the card decline issue, kindly check that if you have enabled the Restrict Cards except Preferred Cards option. If it is enabled, only the prefered card set in the plugin settings will be accepted.

    If the issue persists, kindly share the site URL so that we can check it.

    Hi @tkaldridge,

    Could you please check in the plugin settings under Preferred Cards and Restrict Cards. If you have enabled the restrict cards option, only the preferred cards will be accepted. Please cross check and kindly contact the Stripe support from your stripe account regarding the issue.

    I did have the restricted card setting enabled and confirmed that a customer was trying to purchase with a card (visa) I had as preferred. Error message: Admin declined the payment due to Card Restriction.

    I have since unchecked the restricted card setting. Will this create other issues? Anything else I can try?

    Hi @tkaldridge,

    We have tested with the same settings as you mentioned in our dev/testing environments and we were not able to replicate the issue. The payment passed successfully.

    Anyways, glad to hear that unchecking the option worked out for you. It won’t cause any issues. It allows customers to use any cards to check out from your site.
