Anyone can help me with this?
Using the plugin Quick Cache at the same time, but was never an issue before.
I deactivated it, but the error still occurred.
Clearing the cache was not a problem before…

A total of 1 errors occurred while trying to clear your cache. The last error was: Could not create a lock file /mnt/weba/d0/00/0000000/htdocs/website.de/wp-content/wfcache/clear.lock to clear the cache.

    No, I don’t.

    Caching
Disable all performance enhancements: No performance improvement

So the only caching you have right now is the quick cache, right?

I ask because the wfcache folder, I think, belongs to our cache engine.

Yes, right now I only use Quick Cache for caching. There is also the Wp-Optimize plugin installed, but I don’t think this matters

Try updating to the newest version of wordfence. We have a fix for some of these issues and I want to see if this corrects it.

    Thanks!

    thanks for helping out!

I’m getting the same error. Any ideas?

    Error occurred while clearing cache
A total of 1 errors occurred while trying to clear your cache. The last error was: Could not create a lock file /home8/purchau4/public_html/community-staging/releases/20150401190721/content/wfcache/clear.lock to clear the cache.

Oh, I figured it out. It turns out that I hadn’t completed the WordFence cache set up steps, so the caching hadn’t actually been turned on yet!

    Hope that helps someone else.
