    Hello,

installation of EWWW Image Optimizer and the necessary jpegtran, optipng, and gifsicle worked great and optimizing of single images works also great.

But when using Bulk Optimization and clicking on “Import Images” I get the error

    Class ‘C_Component_Registry’ not found

    in file /path/to/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/ewww-image-optimizer/aux-optimize.php

Sounds like I didn’t properly check to make sure nextgen is loaded before running some nextgen-specific code. If you have debug turned on in your wp-config.php, turn it off for now and see if that helps get you past the error.

Debugging is turned of, but the error is still there.

Can you provide a list of plugins that you have installed?

In particular do you have nextgen 1.x, nextgen 2.x or nextcellent installed? If so, what version do you have? If you don’t have any of those, please provide a full list of all plugins you are using.

I just installed the new version 2.0 of EWWW Image Optimizer which has been released today.

And bulk optimization is working now! Thank you.

Still would be nice to know if we could pinpoint the plugin that was triggering the nextgen 2 import without having the nextgen 2 classes loaded, but glad it worked!
