error – circle does not stop after clicking the send button

first of all thank you for your good work.

I am getting the same error message on at least 6 different websites. The exceptions are websites that use the Twenty Twenty theme or the Chaplin theme.

All WordPress installations including plugins and theme are up to date!

What could be the reason for this? Do you see a solution?

Exactly the same problem! Really confusing.

In case you have the Gutenberg plugin enable, please check if disabling that helps.

We are using Avada theme.
Contact 7 should be fully integrated in the theme.

Despite clearing the cache yesterday, Contact Form 7 does not work with these themes either. No messages are sent.

The new version doesn’t work. Roll back to the old version

@joel2019 I have two Avada sites, one that works fine with the update and one where the spinner never stops spinning, but messages are sent. Have you seen the same on your Avada websites? I’m trying to figure out what the difference is between the two sites. It must be a setting somewhere in Avada that’s conflicting.

All of our sites are running Avada 7.2.1. We are using ManageWP to update all of them at the same time, so all sites are having the same issue. (spinner never stops, but emails are sent)
As a preliminary fix, we used WP Rollback to revert to Contact 7’s previous version.
