Thanks for reporting and I am sorry about the trouble.

This issue is happening on PHP version < 5.5 and I am working on to release a fix asap.

    Thanks

I have just now released the fix in plugin version 3.3.2

Please check. This should fix the issue. Let me know if you still face any issues.

    Thanks !!

I see the update – error fixed – thank you!

I now see this message at the top of the plugins page.
“Testimonials Widget uses Review schema markup for the testimonials. A recent move by Google may penalize your website for using improper schema snippets. Please use Review schema at your own risk via Settings.”

I turned it off in the plugin settings.

Same here on schema but thanks for the quick fix on the main issue

Having the same issue after updating to WordPress 4.6, Testimonials Widget 3.3.3. Any thoughts?

    No issues here.
Is your PHP version current enough on your server?

PHP 5.5.31 (unfortunately the downside to specific OS repo life-cycles)

It’s happening on my dev box and not on prod, so I’m currently diff’ing to see what’s amiss: same plugins, same versions…

@g4macgregor: Can you please share the error log? Is there any compatibility issue? Please share so that we can help you.

Since the original issue has been resolved. I would like to request @g4macgregor to create a new support topic. Thanks
