Error Cannot establish connection with reSmush.it webservice while optimizing…

  • Hi, I have this error
    It is the first time I try to use this plugin

    In resmushit.log I get a long list of:

    [06-08-2020 11:07:03] Cannot establish connection with reSmush.it webservice while optimizing /members/myke02/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/abcImage.jpg (timeout of 10sec.)

    a line for each image I think

    Hi @myke02,

    Thanks for trying to use our plugin ??
    I think you may have a firewall restriction or something like that.
    Check that :
    – curl extension is enabled
    – you’re not behind a proxy nor too restrictive firewall
