    Hello @mazhanay

I apologize for the delay in answering your question.

It seems like you’re encountering a common problem with the PayPal subscriptions mode, this is because in the case of subscriptions via PayPal there is no possibility of manual renewal.

The key step here is to uncheck the “Manual renewal payments” option under your WooCommerce settings. The image illustrates how to do this and where to find the specific setting. Just follow points from 1 to 3.

Please try making this change and let us know if it has a positive impact on your issue.

    Kind Regards,
    Krystian

    Hi @inpsydekrystian,

We are having the same issue than @mazhanay but in our shop we use some payment mehtods that require manual renewal. For instance Bank transfer.

Is there still a way to work with the Paypal payments?

    Thanks!

    Hi @inpsydekrystian,

same issue here. PayPal doesn’t allow us to use reference transactions.

We tried to enable PayPal Subscriptions as they suggested, but we can’t for the reason above. Manual renewal must be active.

We can’t find an escape from this situation. Is there any workaround or an update planned for the next future?

    Thanks

    Andre

    Great News. Thanks!

    Thank you @inpsydekrystian,

it seems there’s an issue with the provided fixing package, since the PayPal button appears greyed out when buying a subscription.

It happens independently on the manual renewals option.

Not a problem. I just wanted to report it so you can fix it in the next days.

    Hello @andbale

It happens independently on the manual renewals option.

Does this subscription have a plan assigned? Usually, the button is grayed out if there’s no plan assigned.

Additionally, the 2.6.0 release candidate is expected to be published by tomorrow at the latest.

    Kind regards,
    Krystian

    Hi @inpsydekrystian,

no, there’s no plan assigned. So I have to recreate the product on PayPal and connect it in the product page, in order for the button to work?

    Thank you

Yes. As long as the plan is not connected button will be greyed out.

    Kind regards,
    Krystian
