    Hello,

I’ve just installed Updraftplus and so far I’m unable to create any backup due to permission issues.

I read the article you refer in Smashing Magazine from May, 2014 where files (664) and folders (755) have correct permissions and I still get that error.

Could it be possible for me to manually create the needed folder to help the plugin? If that’s possible, can you tell the the route and folder name please? Or if there’s another option? I would greatly appreciate your help.

    Regards!

Update for those who may have the same issue: I was able to make the plugin work by creating myself the updraft folder within wp-content and adjusting permissions.

I’m having the same problem, can you explain how you created the folder?
    Thank you!

I’m having the same problem. In fact none of the backup options (Google Drive, FTP, email) work. Can the admins post the links to troubleshoot, please? The thread is marked resolved but the resolution is not visible.
