Hi, I have a very random, obscure bug report to point out. By no means do you need to fix it, but I thought I would bring it to your attention.

I was trying to add a new website to GADWP and was having some issues. It took some debugging to figure out what the cause was, but I figured that it’s a conflict with the Nimbus Screenshot Chrome Extension. (Note that it didnt used to be an issue)

I used to click the link to get an authorization code from Google, the copy/pasted that into the input field for the plugin.

However, recently I have been getting this change in functionality where Google asks for permission, I click to allow, the page changes and shows the authorization code, then the page suddenly closes before I can do anything.

It may be something outside of your control, but I wanted to point it out.

  • Hi,

I had some feedback about that behavior but no one managed to identify the real issue. They just solved the problem by using the browser in Incognito/Private mode while authorizing (when by default the browser extensions are disabled).

Thank you so much for leaving this feedback, it’s really appreciated. I will try to contact the authors of the extension and together maybe we can find a fix.

Thanks again for looking into it!

Yeah, that’s basically what I did too. Sorry if this was a repeat post.

I’m having the same issue and was about to do the same. However, I’d be happy to help you troubleshoot if you’d like.

I *do* have the nimbus screenshot extension installed; when I disable it and do a hard refresh (without going into incognito mode), I’m able to authorize correctly.

    Perhaps that helps.

    Hey Jon,

Thanks for getting back on this. We figured out that was the issue. Not sure theres much we can really do about it unfortunately.
