Error at login after new install

  • First I deleted all the tables from the database and did a new install. Everything is OK until I have to login. Immediately I get the message “Error: wrong login/password”, even before filling in the fields. So I deleted the tables again, deleted the wh?3le database a made a new one, I even deleted all the files on the server and uploaded all original files.
    Then a new install, tables were made, everything OK, but still that loginmessage! So there is an error even before I do something!?
    Anyone knows what’s going on here?

    It’s OK now. I downloaded a fresh 1.2 delta and uploaded those files. Something wrong somewhere ??

    Is your database password 8 characters or less? I once had a problem like you describe, and it was fixed by shortening the password.
