ERROR: An error was encountered while trying to authenticate. Please try again

    Hi, each time I try to log in to my site’s dashboard I keep encountering the following error message: “ERROR: An error was encountered while trying to authenticate. Please try again.”

    Kindly assist.

    Hi @intruthshedelights, Thank you for reaching out.

    We have had similar reports from other customers that were resolved by disabling the Coming Soon Page, Maintenance Mode, Landing Pages & WordPress Website Builder plugin by SeedProd: 6.15.22.

    Are you running that plugin and, if so, does deactivating that plugin or updating it to version 6.15.23 resolve the issue in your case ? You might have to clear your browser cache as well.

    Hi Mark, thank you for replying.

    I had cleared the browser cache before contacting you and nothing changed. I have also checked, and my website’s coming soon page was already disabled. I also do not use seed prod plugin. However, I’m not sure about how to go about disabling maintenance mode.

    I have cleared my website’s cache in the caching plugin and it has worked. I can now log in to the admin dashboard. No error message thanks.
